Description:
The ice tank is made of a robust stainless steel structure, which contains:
at the bottom there is the cooling system, complete with all the components and control devices, cold water pump and the electric panel.
at the top there is the storage tank equipped with a blower.

Composition:
– Ice tank in stainless steel AISI 304
– Injected insulation with Polyurethane foam.
– Stainless steel AISI 304 external panels.
– Base in painted steel.
– Blower 0.25 kW
– Evaporator in AISI 304 stainless steel tube.
– Hermetic compressor condensing unit with R404a gas.
– Refrigeration group complete with accessories and controls.
– Chilled water circulation pump
– Electric panel complete with controls and protections.
– Electronic thermostat for the control of the temperature of water.

In comparison to systems without storage (e.g. Chillers) the relevant advantages are the following:
– Minimum capital cost because of the reduction of plant power
– Minimum running cost because of the possibility to avoid top consumption’s and relevant penalties.
– Maximum safety since icing does not cause any breakage and damage like in the shell and tube chillers.
– Maximum dependability because of the possibility to use stored ice until the service arrival.
